Hernán Heredia
Hernan was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, where fire-grilled steaks are what’s for dinner. He grew up with a with a surf board under his arm, and it’s the surf that eventually landed him here in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Hernan started calling Tamarindo home in 2019. His favorite things, besides frying up the world’s most amazing empanadas, are surfing, reggae music, and building bonfires on the beach.
Diana Zimmerman
Diana comes from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and has been living in Costa Rica since the 1990s. Her cooking background includes influences from her Pennsylvania Dutch roots, Italy, and her lifetime in Costa Rica. In her free time, Diana loves surfing, writing stories, and a good glass of Cannonau.
